PSP Announces Grant of Restricted Shares

KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 6, 2008) - Pacific Safety Products Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PSP), a leader in the field of protective body armour and soldier systems equipment, announced the grant of 62,606 restricted shares under the restricted share agreement approved at the Company's 2007 AGM in November 2007. The shares have been granted to Mr. Scotty Wiley, President of GH Armor, as part of his employment agreement.

The Restricted Share Agreement provides for the issuance of up to an aggregate of 300,000 Restricted Shares to Mr. Wylie over a three year period. The specific number of Restricted Shares to be granted in any year will be calculated on the basis of a formula which divides the Canadian equivalent of US$100,000 by the closing price of the Company's common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange on the date of grant of the Restricted Shares, and applies an adjustment factor relating to the assumed growth rate for the Company.
