Announces Grand Opening of Sentry Armor Systems Inc. in Dover, Tennessee SEP 18, 2006 - 13:35 ETKELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 18, 2006) - PSP (TSX VENTURE:PSP) announced today the official opening of its new U.S. Operation in Dover, Tennessee. Sentry Armor Systems will develop, market, manufacture and sell armor systems to the U.S. federal government, the department of defense, state and law enforcement agencies. PSP's decision to expand in the U.S. is part of the Company's growth strategy plan for 2007 that included the development of U.S. specific solutions, using existing product lines in order to establish a footprint in this large market. "We believe that with a skilled workforce, innovative designs and competitive products, Sentry will secure a market niche to continue to grow its business in the U.S," said Cynthia Mooney, U.S. President of Sentry. Work on the start up began in the spring of 2006 with operations launched in July, 2006. More than 100 special guests, including the site's new employees, attended the official opening ceremonies Monday. They were joined by a number of dignitaries, including a representative from U.S. Senator Bill Frist's office and from U.S. House of Representative John Tanner's office. Also present were Willy Borchert, from the Tennessee State House of Representatives, and Stewart County Mayor Rick Joiner. Representatives from the State of Tennessee, the Dover Industrial Board, local law enforcement and local distributors and suppliers participated in the event. The PSP investment in Sentry is valued at $1 million and is comprised of capital equipment, infrastructure, employee training and development and marketing. PSP CEO David Scott said the investment underscores the company's belief in the growth potential of the U.S. marketplace. PSP is already the market leader in the Canadian armor business and has been supplying protective products to the defense and law enforcement sectors for more than 20 years.
