Canadian Superior Energy to Present at IPAA Oil & Gas Investment Symposium October 6, 2008

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 6, 2008) - Canadian Superior Energy Inc. ("Canadian Superior", the "Company") (TSX:SNG) (AMEX:SNG) announced today that it will be presenting today at the Independent Petroleum Association of America ("IPAA") 2008 Oil & Gas Investment Symposium ("OGIS") being held in San Francisco, California, October 6 - 8, 2008.
Canadian Superior's Chairman, Greg Noval, will present and outline the Company's objective, strategy and execution plan for growth in North America and in other international basins. Mr. Noval and Senior Management of the Company will be available for further discussion at Canadian Superior's Break-Out Session immediately following the presentation.
